Taylor is a passionate sustainability researcher who believes innovation and communication are key to creating circular solutions for the future. She received her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, where she developed systems to recycle plastic and mixed waste into clean hydrogen fuel using only sunlight.
Her expertise spans photocatalysis, circular economies, life cycle assessments, and science communication. Taylor now works as a Circular Economy Research Analyst at the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL), investigating ways to advance sustainability across plastic, chemical, food, and other industries.
Outside of research, Taylor co-hosts a podcast called Greenscore aiming to make sustainable shopping simpler. She also loves exploring Colorado’s great outdoors, connecting with friends around bonfires, and warming up with the perfect cup of tea (with milk, obviously). Taylor is always seeking new collaborations and opportunities to make positive change through science and storytelling.
